Sophie Windsor Clive and her friend Liberty Smith set out on a boat ride over the River Shannon. What they had not anticipated was a rare chance encounter they were about to have with one of natures greatest and most fleeting phenomena. They got their cameras rolling, set out on the boat and were about to film their journey, when to their surprise a murmuration of thousands of Starling birds formed a giant cloud over their head and put on a huge air show right above them. There is no question that nature is beautiful and these Starling’s really show us the calibre of beauty nature can possess.
