If you’ve seen the Academy Award nominated performance of Gary Busey as legendary Buddy Holly, you already know how awesome it is.
If you know Busey from Celebrity Apprentice, Celebrity Rehab and all the other insane things he does, you’ll appreciate his Buddy Holly performance.
The man…Kills it.
I’m a huge fan.
Class of 55 is an album that came out in the 80s by Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison and Carl Perkins. It was partially a tribute to Elvis, but more importantly, it was a coming together of Sam Phillips’ Sun Records of the 50s that changed the game for music forever….
I used to listen to the Johnny Cash & Bob Dylan album on repeat many years ago. It was an interesting collaboration of a country superstar of his generation connecting with a folk star of his generation…and as far as I’m concerned what they came out with was gold.
Here’s a clip of them singing together on the Johnny Cash show….Awesome.
Tim Armstrong from Rancid has a side project where he sings some America Classics with friends. The series is appropriately called Tim Timebomb and Friends.
This addition to the series features his friends from Rancid….and they are singing Hank Williams Sr…one of our favorites…and it is awesome!!

I was listening to an interview with a Film critic for Salon.com, where he was basically explaining how Hollywood works now that the industry is competing with the Internet. The basics are that they aim for blockbusters, you know 200,000,000 dollar productions that turn around and make 1,000,000,000 dollars in sales, and that the art of cinema is being lost. It is rare that a low budget, good story, well shot movie gets funding, and it makes it easy to hate on the industry, but when you look at some of the amazing movies and the amazing visuals that have been made, like in this 135 shots edit, you will be reminding that this medium still has hope…The future is not all SciFi Marvel Comic Blockbuster Bullshit…..
Here is a hysterical, creepy, weird as hell video of Corey Feldman on some televised Howard Stern TV show that is just ridiculous, awkward and amazing….and I guess is when Corey Feldman attempted a pop career, inspired by MJ, trying to do the Katy Perry, but unlike Katy Perry, he failed….
The song is called What Up With the Youth and I do not think that is the real question this video brings up in my mind.
Roman and Pedro are a some filmmakers who put together the story of the life of a man in front of the Mirror doing his daily routine….from child to adult…It is the simple things in life that we take for granted but that can be so cool..
I know this has nothing to do with really anything we do here at Wolf & Harrison, but it brought me great joy and laughter seeing Mr Wizard being a jerk to the kids on his show, because bitter old men with no patience should not have their own TV shows, but when they do it is legendary!
This is a video put out by Black Sheep Films called New York Park, that is visually pretty amazing, they edited some carnival rides from Luna Park Coney Island into some landmarks, and the city that is already so much fun to live in and visit has become even more fun.
